Take Your Christmas Lights To Rotary Lights

You say that old set of Christmas tree bulbs handed down over the years has conked out?

You could toss them in the trash, but La Crosse County has a better idea...take them to Rotary Lights, and have them recycled for raw materials. The advice comes from county sustainability specialist Nick Nichols, who says Alter Recycling pays for the metal removed from the lighting sets, and gives the money to Rotary Lights.  Nichols also recommends replacing old Christmas light bulbs with LED sets, which use less electricity.
