Sparta Police are looking for someone who fled a traffic stop early Sunday, that led to two others being nabbed. Police say the driver of a car failed to stop for a driving violation and then led officers on a pursuit reaching speeds in excess of 60 miles per hour. The driver eventually stopped in Sparta. The driver and two of three passengers ran from the vehicle.

Officers were able to apprehend the driver, 33 year old Travis Wehmanen, (WHEY MAN EN) after a short foot pursuit. Police say Wehmanen was in possession of meth and heroin. He also had several warrants out for his arrest. He is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail. Police also arrested 38 year old Wanda Kessen. She is
facing possible charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Two of the passengers were able to escape the vehicle.

22 year old Mirika Stuhr is still on the loose. Police say Stuhr is facing possible charges of possessing prescription medication without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. A third passenger has not been apprehended either. Their identity is unknown at this
time.
