Two La Crosse Employees at Six Months Paid Leave

The city of La Crosse has a couple of employees that have been paid for six months without ever showing up for work.  Municipal prosecutor Pete Kisken and Community Development Administrator Liana Escott were removed from city hall back in May for unspecified misconduct.  Both were placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.  That investigation, apparently, is still ongoing.  Kisken and Escott are both on the payroll and the city has paid a collective 70 thousand dollars to the pair since they were put on leave.
