Big Gas Price Drop Since Labor Day Continues
The cost of filling your gas tank isn't much different than it was around Thanksgiving last year, but it's a lot cheaper than last summer.
The Wisconsin Triple A says prices around the state have fallen about 50 cents a gallon in the past two months. Pam Moen at Triple A tells us that the price drop was slowed down a little by the storms on the east coast.
The statewide average of 3-41 is slightly higher than the average in La Crosse. Moen says gas is even cheaper in southern Minnesota than in Wisconsin because the two states get their supplies from different refineries.
