Wisconsin Lawmakers Would Arrest Feds Over Health Care Law
Many lawmakers in Wisconsin are opposed to the federal Affordable Care Act. Not all of them want to throw the feds in jail because of it. But some Republican lawmakers apparently are in favor of that. In responses to questionnaires for the Ron Paul-founded group Campaign for Liberty, nine republicans say they would favor declaring Obamacare illegal and arresting federal workers who attempt to implement the law in Wisconsin. They would do so, apparently, with the understanding that the 10th amendment allows states to pick and choose which federal laws they follow. The questionnaire also asks about legislation for selling unpasteurized milk, creating right-to-work rules and arresting overly aggressive TSA agents for sexual assault. No elected lawmakers in western Wisconsin filled out the survey. Although republican assembly candidate Bruce Evers did.
