There's some angry landlords out there.  A bunch of them are peeved about plans by Pointe West Investment to build a big apartment and commercial building in the university area around UW la Crosse.  The Onalaska-based company has some vague plans to put up a four story complex with commercial spaces underneath.  A city council committee has recommended holding off on zoning changes for the plan until Pointe West has a better idea of what it will do to adhere to the city's code of providing one parking space per bedroom in a complex.  Nearby rental owners gripe that the development should have to adhere to the same parking regulations that they have.
