Kader Recall Awaits Signatures in City Hall

The signatures may have been collected but that's about as far as an attempt to recall the La Crosse city council president has gone.  A group including La Crosse tea partiers and others launched a recall effort of council president Audrey Kader last month, citing her lack of leadership on the council and failure to work more closely with the mayor.  The group claimed they gathered necessary signatures to launch a recall within hours.  But the city clerk's office says nothing has been turned in.  No real hurry, the recall group has until November 20th at which time a review of the signatures begins.
