One year after a La Crosse woman was murdered in a Chicago hotel, the suspect is still waiting to be tried.

Investigators believe Sarai Michaels went to Chicago in October of last year to work as a prostitute, and was stabbed to death in a fight with a man in a hotel room. Christopher Love is charged with murder and soliciting a prostitute. Love claimed that Michaels threatened him with a knife, and he took it away and stabbed her. During a Chicago court hearing last week, a DNA test was ordered for Love. No trial date has been set.
