Jail Time For Rep. Wood; Monroe Co. Case Pending
The Wisconsin lawmaker arrested three times for O-W-I in the last two years is ordered to serve just over a month in the Columbia County jail, after reaching a plea agreement. Wood was arrested there in late 2008 after crashing his car into a sign, and then urinating along the road. A judge in Portage is taking away Wood's license for almost two years. Wood also was pulled over for O-W-I near the Tomah Wal-Mart last fall. His case in Monroe County Court comes up again on May 24th.
