Cycling The Country For Leader Dogs

Cycling for Leader Dogs is a 3,500 mile, trans-America solo bicycle tour from the west coast to the east coast to increase awareness and raise funds for Leader Dogs for the Blind. Cyclist Mark Mansell is a member of the La Center Lions Club in La Center, Washington and talked with WIZM news about the trek.

Mansell has already passed his goal of $35 thousand, or 1,000 sponsors pledging one penny for every mile of the trip. All donations of $35 or more will receive a special commemorative pin. He will be going through La Crosse later today.
