3 Heroin Overdoses In 3 Days In Lax...One Person Dead

La Crosse police are investigating three heroin overdoses this week. One of them was fatal.

An unidentified person was found dead on Thursday, and police found evidence that heroin had been used. On Wednesday, a 19-year-old woman was revived after passing out in a room at a hotel near Rose Street. And today, at another north-side hotel, first responders saved the life of a 46-year-old man who also was unconscious, apparently after taking heroin. The police department says an 'extremely potent' supply of heroin may have been brought to the La Crosse area, and it's asking citizens for help in tracking down who's been distributing the drug.
