Pulling Bad Plants...Good For Economy!

This isn't just a day for going outdoors to pull weeds...

Students at Viterbo will head to the bluffs near Highway 16 on Saturday, to spend an afternoon cutting down a couple of invasive plants. It's a project for a class on the economy and environment, taught by Todd Ondell at Viterbo. Ondell says those plants can crowd out more beneficial plants, leaving less food available for bugs and birds, and even bears.
