Koula Trial Could Wrap Up By Middle Of Next Week

Jurors at the Eric Koula murder trial may be seeing light at the end of the tunnel...

Thirteen days into the La Crosse County trial, they've been told that the defense is likely to call its last witness on Thursday. And after the D-A has a second chance at some witnesses, closing arguments could happen early next week.

Judge Scott Horne says the jury would be sequestered until it reaches a verdict...and if the discussions last more than one day, the jury could meet until 9 p-m on any given day. Koula is on trial for the shooting deaths of his parents over two years ago. The judge kept his schedule open for the trial through June 29th.
