Brush and Yard Waste Sites Open

The brush pile is already growing at Isle La Plume in La Crosse. Yard Waste drop-off in the city begins this week. The city collects 16 hundred tons of yard waste plus another six hundred tons of brush at two sites. It's a huge recycling effort; A private contractor composts the waste into dirt and the brush gets shredded and is available for free pick-up at Isle La PLume.
