Stoddard Man Found Near Parent's Home

19 year old Jerome Lachman left his parent's Stoddard home on foot April 2nd for a friend’s house about one block away but did not make it. Vernon County County authorities are still wondering why. Sheriff John Spears says Lachman's body was found 500 yards from his parents home in a wooded area and says his death is accidental. So far, police do not suspect foul play.
