Council to Vote on Garbage Rules

Long-awaited garbage regulation updates are scheduled for a vote tonight by the full La Crosse city council.  Landlords have complained loudly about the new regulations that, among other things, require many more rentals to have dumpsters.  But city council member Bob Seaquist, who helped develop the new rules, says the changes are needed to deal with La Crosse's garbage problem.   And not just what the city's garbage contractor has to deal with

The new rules would, among other things, mandate that all garbage get put out in a container.
