New Owner Officially Gets Deed To Hollywood Theater

Another step forward in the effort to reopen the Hollywood Theater of La Crosse...

Attorney Phil Addis announced on a Facebook page yesterday that his company, Main Street Renaissance, has been granted the deed to the old movie theater at 5th and Jay. Addis says plans for the renovation of the Hollywood will be started soon. Addis's company bought the building at an auction in February for 15-thousand dollars. It had been owned previously by the Children's Museum of La Crosse. The Hollywood originally opened in 1936, and presented movies and live concerts before shutting down within the last 10 years.
