Tomah Mayor Wins By 5 Votes And Other Results

In the La Crosse School Board races last night, two incumbents were re-seated while one newcomer was welcomed in. Deb Suchla led all vote getters followed by Jeff Meyer and Rob McMahon. Daniel Moen quit his campign early but wass till on the ballot.


The three incumbent Onalaska School Board members all won their seats back last night. Heather Sysimaki, Brian Haefs, Alana Havenstrite all defeated Kristoffer Knickrehm.


The winners from the West Salem School District included Ken Schlimgen, Jane Halverson and Sylvester Clements.


For Town Of Campbell Supervisor, Jeffrey Schroeder defeated Bruce Becker with Schroeder taking 69% of the vote.


In Tomah, incumbent Mayor John Rusch may have won the race but don't count out challenger, Shannon Hough yet as she only lost by 5 votes. The final tally was Rusch 755 and Hough 750. Hough posted on her facebook last night that she will be asking for an official recount later today.


In Viroqua, you can continue to call him Mayor, after Larry Fanta defeated challenger Irving Leif 575 to 188.

Sparta voters said yes to a $2 million aquatic center by an almost 3 to 1 margin. The vote total was 1181 yes and 391 no.
