March Was A Record-Breaker All Over

March was a record-smashing month for weather all over the Midwest...

Dozens of communities just in the three-state area had their warmest March ever, including La Crosse. The daily average of 50 degrees in the city beats the previous record of 47, dating back to the 1870's. Other towns with even warmer averages included Trempealeau, Genoa, Decorah, and Prairie du Chien. La Crosse set record highs on nine days in March, including five days in a row between the 14th and 18th. And the 83 degree high on St. Patrick's Day marks the earliest day in the year that La Crosse has had weather that warm.
