This Month Could Be Among 10 Driest Marches in Lax

There's no snow in the forecast for La Crosse through Saturday, which means this March could rank among the least snowy ones on record.

La Crosse has received just five-tenths of an inch of snow this month, barely putting it in the bottom 10 list for the lowest amount of snowfall in March. The driest March ever in the city was just two years ago, with no snow recorded at all. Precipitation in the city since August 1st is about one-third below the normal amount for the period. But at the Alma dam in Buffalo County, moisture is almost 50 per cent below normal.
