Police Identify Shooting Victim

Police have identified the victim of a shooting yesterday in La Crosse.  Cops say 20 year-old Sara Hougom was killed at her home on Division street yesterday afternoon.  Police say Hougom called 911 around four yesterday afternoon to report that she'd been shot.  First responders worked on her in the apartment, got her to the hospital, where she later died of her wounds.  POlice say the wounds do not appear to be self-inflicted and they continue to investigate the shooting with the help of several other agencies.  No one in custody at this point.  Police are also investigating a separate shooting on the northside that happened within minutes of the Hougom killing.  In that shooting, someone pumped at least four bullets into a home on Island street, although no one was injured.
