Child Hit By Car In Tomah

This morning, the Tomah Police Department investigated a vehicle/pedestrian accident on Superior Avenue at Brownell Street, one block from where there was an adult crossing guard. The child was crossing Superior Ave and was struck by a vehicle entering Superior Ave from West Brownell. The child was transported to the Tomah Memorial Hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver was cited for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a cross walk.
