Vikings Supporter Says Stadium Deal Could Be Now Or Never

There's bound to be some in Minnesota outside of the twin cities who wonder why the state is getting involved in a funding deal for a new Vikings stadium in Minneapolis.  But Cory Merrifield, founder of the website says three million fans who tune in for every Vikings game on Sunday around the state know how important the team is to the state.  And if a deal isn't done soon, it could be curtains for the storied franchise in Minnesota

Current deal for the stadium would mix additional gambling revenue with money from Minneapolis and several hundred million dollars from Vikings owners.  The new stadium would be built close to where the Metrodome is now.
