Cap-X Hearing In Court

THE NEXT MOVE IN A BATTLE OVER MIDWESTERN ENERGY IS UP TO THE MINNESOTA COURT OF APPEALS.

THAT COURT HAS HEARD LAWYERS ARGUE ABOUT THE NEED FOR THE CAP-X 2020 POWER LINE PROJECT, AND ABOUT WHERE THE ELECTRIC LINES MIGHT GO. THE COURT HEARING IN ST. PAUL ATTRACTED SEVERAL OPPONENTS OF THE PROJECT, INCLUDING LA CRESCENT ACTIVIST JEREMY CHIPPS. HE WAS IMPRESSED BY THE PERFORMANCE OF THOSE JUDGES.

THERE'S NO DEADLINE FOR THE COURT TO MAKE A RULING. CHIPPS BELONGS TO A GROUP WHICH SAYS THE PROJECT COULD BE BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND TOURISM.
