Tommy Thompson Considers a Run For the U.S. Senate
Will a former Wisconsin governor take on Russ Feingold? By this weekend Tommy Thompson will decide if he's going to run for the U.S. senate. State lawmaker and fellow republican Mike Huebsch believes Thompson has what it takes to unseat Feingold in November. But, the West Salem assemblyman admits he's torn over a potential run for the senate because of the important work Thompson is doing for LaCrosse based company Logistics Health. Huebsch feels Thompson would definitely give Feingold his toughest election opponent since joining the U.S. senate in 1993.
