Water Closes Bangor Post Office

A long time problem has struck again at the Village of Bangor Post Office. Water. The post office is closed until further notice because of water damage that led to safety risks and mold and mildew problems. The U.S. Postal Service ordered an emergency suspension of operations.

Post Office Box customers can pick up mail at the West Salem post office. Retail and delivery operations will be moved to the West Salem post office until the problems are fixed.

Water, in the past, has damaged the roof, ceiling and walls, presenting a safety hazard for employees and customers.
