Tomah Man Crashes Into Cafe

Police have released the name of a Tomah man who apparently had a heart attack while he was driving and ended up crashing into the front of the Greenwood Café. The driver of the vehicle, 62 year old Daniel Davis, was transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital where efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Davis' vehicle exited a driveway on the west side of Superior Avenue Saturday morning and proceeded over the center median, and into the Greenwood Café.

The Tomah Building Inspector was contacted and will work with the building owner to determine if the structure if safe to occupy.
