Vinehout Introduces Bill to Foster County Cooperation

Democratic State Senator Kathleen Vinehout is finding support from both political sides with a bill she has introduced that would reverse an amendment to the state budget passed this summer. The amendment stops counties from working together unless the project involves roadwork in extending into an adjacent county. Bottom line she's hurting counties all over the state financially.

The new law also forbids counties from doing work for cities within the county if the city has greater than 5,000 people.
