Jurors Being Chosen For Stratman Homicide Trial

Choosing a jury for a homicide trial is a long and serious process...

That process could take most of the day in La Crosse County, for the Trisha Stratman trial. Late this morning, about two dozen prospective jurors were interviewed one-by-one, to find out what they knew about the case. A few knew enough, or had connections to people involved so that they were excused. Others told Judge David Rice that they have heard little about the crash in the local media. Stratman is a former sheriff's deputy charged with causing the death of a teenage driver in a collision near Holmen. She was driving to a crime scene when the accident happened.
