Shilling Gets Senate Appointments

One day after being sworn in as the new 32nd District Senator in Wisconsin, Senate Leader Mark Miller announced that Senator Jennifer Shilling has been appointed to three standing committees.

Senator Shilling will serve as a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Higher Education, the Committee on Economic Development, Veterans and Military Affairs, and the Committee on Public Health, Human Services and Revenue.

Shilling told WIZM news shortly after winning the election that she had hoped to serve on these committees since they are gravely important to western Wisconsin
