Spartans Owner Goes To New Team In Iowa

The future of the La Crosse Spartans is in limbo.

The indoor football team is ceasing operations for now and is seeking a new owner, now that co-owner and general manager Chris Kokalis has taken a job with a new football franchise in Cedar Rapids. The Titans in Cedar Rapids will be coached by Kyle Brown, who was the Assistant Coach for the Spartans, and brother to Spartans Head Coach, Gilbert Brown. La Crosse Center manager Art Fahey is looking for someone to buy the Spartans, to keep the team going at the local arena.
