Alcohol Testing for Past OWI Leads to Seventh Drunk Driving Arrest

La Crosse police didn't have to test Steven Wier on the breathalyzer for his seventh OWI. He'd already been tested. Wier was at Justice Sanctions in the county law enforcement center on Friday morning. He drove there in his van after breathing into the ignition breath lock to start the van. Apparently the device wasn't working because the 51 year old Wier tested over a .08 at Justice Sanctions. At nine o'clock in the morning. Prompting a call to police. And an arrest for drunk driving number seven. And a trip to lock-up, right next door.
