Cone Zones Coming To Minnesota

The first of several road construction projects around Winona County Begins on Monday. Motorists can expect temporary lane closures on eastbound and westbound Interstate 90 in Minnesota from the Hwy. 43 south Rushford exit to the Hwy. 76 Houston exit beginning Monday.

The temporary lane closures will be in effect until May 24th as crews prepare the westbound lanes for upcoming traffic switches. The closures are part of a larger concrete resurfacing project on eastbound I-90 that will begin May 25th. The detour route is Winona County Hwy. 12.

The project will cost around $8.6 million.
