Superintendent Hopeful Of Budget Repair Bill

Later today the Onalaska School District, like many districts around the state, will find out how much of hit they could take after Governor Scott Walker releases details on his budget repair bill.

Superintendent John Burnett says if what he's heard is true about the bill, the district could take a $1.5 million reduction in state aid. But he says there is a bright side......possibly.Some relief may be ins tore to help districts balance their budgets.


Governor Scott Walker says the next state budget will have over a billion-dollars less in state aid to local governments and schools. The Republican governor will unveil his fiscal plans for the next two years at 4pm.
