Holmen Prez Speaks About Administrator Firing

For the second time in two years, the administrator's seat is empty at the Holmen Village Hall.

Administrator Mary Willett was fired last night after only about a year on the job. She didn't show up at the village board meeting to defend herself. Other village leaders were unhappy about Willett's job performance, and about the apparent padding of her resume to show more administrative experience than she really had. Village president Nancy Proctor says it's sad that the situation came to this, because staffers at the village hall liked Willett.  Proctor says no decision has been made yet on finding a new administrator...or on using the same employee search firm that recommended Willett for the Holmen job.
