Another Shot at Veto Override Not Likely

The DNR secretary appointment issue is dead for now. La Crosse state rep, Jennifer Shilling doesn't expect lawmakers to give another shot at overriding governor Doyle's veto of a bill to restore DNR secretary appointment authority to the state's natural resources board. Shilling was among those who voted to override in yesterday's failed attempt.
