Not to have contact with students, banned from district property.

A part time staffer in La Crosse schools has been arrested on sexual assault charges.

Dustin Bagstad, a show choir co-director in the district, is being held on charges of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Repeated 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of Same Child, and Sex Assault of Student by School Staff.

La Crosse superintendent Randy Nelson informed parents of the arrest in an email sent on Wednesday.

Nelson says the district is cooperating with police and urges those with information about Bagstad to contact police.

Bagstad is on administrative leave and is to have no contact with students and can't have access to district property.
