Track the La Crosse's leaf collection crew online

Pick up to begin Monday

Leaf pick up in La Crosse is about to begin.

The city has sent out notice that curbside leaf pick-up will start Monday on the north side.

Weather permitting, crews will make four passes through the city but once a truck goes through, there might not be another pass down that block for two weeks.

Guidance on leaf pile prep: The city says have them in a loose pile on the boulevard by 7 am. No sticks, no bags, no covers. Or they won't be picked up.

Progress of the leaf pick-up can be tracked a number of ways:

  • Leaf collection map (to see where crews are working and for more detailed information, enter your address in the search bar and click on the street in front of your home).
  • The city's street dept. Facebook.
  • The city's refuse and recycling Facebook.
  • Or phone updates: street dept. 789-7340, option 5 or refuse and recycling dept., 789-7508 option 4.
