Local Pols; Gay Ruling a Winner Featured

Written by

La Crosse lawmakers are speaking out on the Supreme Court decision supporting gay marriage.  Congressman Ron Kind calls the ruling a step forward for fairness and equality for same-sex couples.  State Senator Jennifer Shilling says communities are strengthened when all couples have equal rights.  Wisconsin's ban on same-sex marriage, approved in a 2006 constitutional amendment, was overturned by a court ruling late last year.
