So Far, No Applicants for Council Seat

Written by

The city clerk is still waiting for applications, for a vacant seat on the La Crosse City Council. Katherine Svitavsky recently moved out of La Crosse, leaving the 5th district seat for the university area open. Clerk Teri Lehrke has received a couple of calls asking about the opening, but no one has filed paperwork yet. The deadline for applications is 5 p-m on June 22nd. Whoever is appointed to the seat would serve until a special election next April.
